Well, the Taste of Home Cooking School was a blast! That was our first time to take the little shop o’ crafts on the road. It was actually really fun! I am glad to have met so many new folks who’ve been driving by the shop. We hope you’ll pop in soon! Meanwhile, we’re gluttons for fun and we took the shop on the road again last week – We shared a booth at the Business Showcase with A Rose Petal.
We’ll be on the road again at the Chamber’s Agri-Fest on Thursday, April 10, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. It’s a great event that showcases the importance of agriculture in everyday life. Along with commercial vendors, there will be lots of food booths, and a ton of activities – educational AND fun – for the youngsters.
Wow! Check out the Alcohol Ink Technique - Toni’s classes are always so much fun and this one was no exception. She has such a sense of curiousity, we really started brainstorming about all the neat ways this technique could be used – on cards, glass, scrapbooks, home decor and more. We’re hosting another class on March 13. Two days after her Faces of Spring Class, next Tuesday!
Our Clay Art class has been rescheduled to start April 3 - and it’s going to be so much FUN! Surround youreself with leaves that never wilt!
Marilyn’s lining up some fabulous quilting classes – in addition to the multiple-week classes, we’re working on some one- and two-day projects. By the way, if you’re a fabricholic, we thank you for your patience as we transition the fabric department. We’ll get there! We won’t let down the sew-ers! If you have some time, drop me a line and let me know what kinds of fabrics YOU like (’cuz I like ‘ all!)
March is National Craft Month – and we are offering weekly and daily specials, 10% off class signups, 100% off workroom fees, an open house, and more surprises!
